1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

At Mentorix Mentorship (“Mentorix,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mentorix’s website, services, and applications (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Mentorix.

2. Description of Services

Mentorix provides online mentorship services for entry-level UI/UX designers worldwide. Our Services include, but are not limited to:

Free Mentorship

Weekly emails, monthly 1-on-1 selection, recorded sessions

UX Design Challenge

21-day email course, case study projects, templates

UX Design Mentorship

Weekly calls, 1-on-1 feedback, portfolio reviews, community access

Freelance Mentorship

Lifetime access, client strategies, community support

The specific details, duration, and frequency of these Services may vary depending on the program you enroll in and will be communicated to you upon enrollment or as updated from time to time.

3. Eligibility and User Registration

3.1 Age Requirement

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

3.2 Account Creation

To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account or provide contact information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding any passwords or access credentials that you use to access the Services and for any activities or actions under your account. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Services:

In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation

To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail," "chain letter," "spam," or any other similar solicitation

To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Services, or which, as determined by us, may harm Mentorix or users of the Services or expose them to liability

To share, redistribute, or sell program materials, templates, or content without permission

4.2 Community Guidelines

If you join our WhatsApp or Telegram communities as part of a paid program, you agree to treat all members and mentors with respect, maintain confidentiality of discussions, and follow any community-specific guidelines provided.

4.3 User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Services (“User Content”). By submitting, posting, or displaying User Content on or through the Services, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such User Content in connection with providing and promoting our Services.

4.4 Feedback and Testimonials

If you provide us with any feedback, testimonials, or suggestions regarding the Services (“Feedback”), you hereby assign to us all rights in such Feedback and agree that we shall have the right to fully use such Feedback and related information in any manner we deem appropriate. You are not required to provide testimonials, but if you do, you grant us permission to use them in our marketing materials. We will attribute testimonials to you unless you request anonymity.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Mentorix's Intellectual Property

The Services and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, audio, templates, frameworks, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Mentorix, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by Nigeria and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

5.2 Limited License

These Terms permit you to use the Services and any provided materials for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our Services for commercial purposes or redistribution.

5.3 Restrictions

You must not:

Share program materials, templates, or content with non-participants

Sell or redistribute any materials from the Services

Delete or alter any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices from copies of materials from the Services

Claim any Mentorix materials as your own work

6. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

6.1 Pricing

The current pricing for our Services is as follows:

UX Design Challenge
₦10,000 (one-time)
UX Design Mentorship
₦25,000/month or ₦65,000/3-months
Freelance Mentorship
₦100,000 (lifetime)
All fees are in Nigerian Naira (₦) unless otherwise stated. Prices may change from time to time, but any changes will not affect existing enrollments.

6.2 Payment Methods

We use Paystack for all payments. Paystack works internationally and accepts various payment methods including cards, bank transfers, and mobile money. Anyone from anywhere can pay through Paystack. You must provide valid payment information as a condition to enrolling in paid programs.

6.3 Payment Terms

All Mentorix programs require full upfront payment. We do not offer installment plans or payment plans. You agree to pay all fees or charges based on the fees, charges, and billing terms in effect at the time a fee or charge is due and payable.

6.4 Refund Policy

No refunds are offered for any Mentorix programs (UX Design Challenge, UX Design Mentorship, or Freelance Mentorship).

Once you’re enrolled and have access to materials, recordings, community, or email content, the investment is non-refundable.

Once we finish teaching you, there’s no way we can take back what we’ve taught you.

However, if you pay for a program and don’t see results, we commit to working with you until you see results, as reasonably determined by us. Make sure you’re committed before enrolling.

6.5 Free Mentorship

The Free Mentorship is 100% free. No credit card required, no hidden costs, no upsells. We will never ask you to pay unless you choose to upgrade to one of the paid programs.

7. Program Duration and Access

7.1 UX Design Mentorship

If you enroll in the 1-month plan, you have access for 1 month from enrollment. If you enroll in the 3-month plan, you have access for 3 months from enrollment. If you want to continue after your initial period ends, you can re-enroll, but the discount only applies when paying for 3 months upfront.

7.2 Freelance & Challenge

The Freelance Mentorship and UX Design Challenge both provide lifetime access to materials and content, including any future updates.

7.3 Session Attendance

For programs with live calls, you are expected to attend scheduled sessions. If you cannot attend, please notify us in advance. Missed sessions without notice may not be rescheduled, but recordings will typically be made available.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account and discontinue use of the Services at any time by contacting us at hello@mentorix.com. Please note that terminating your account does not entitle you to a refund.

8.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Services immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of these Terms, disrespectful behavior toward mentors or community members, or sharing of program materials without permission.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Any materials you’ve downloaded for personal use may be retained, but you must not share or redistribute them. Access to communities, live calls, and ongoing content will be revoked.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Guarantees of Outcomes

While we are committed to providing high-quality mentorship and have a strong track record of success, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, client acquisitions, or income levels. Results depend on many factors including your effort, market conditions, individual circumstances, and how you apply what you learn.

9.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. MENTORIX EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MENTORIX, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE TO ANY PERSON FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, COVER OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, SALES, GOODWILL, USE OF CONTENT, IMPACT ON BUSINESS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY) HOWEVER CAUSED, UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY, BREACH OF STATUTORY DUTY, NEGLIGENCE OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF MENTORIX HAS BEEN ADVISED AS TO THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES OR COULD HAVE FORESEEN SUCH DAMAGES.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mentorix, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Services.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any legal action or proceeding between you and Mentorix shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Nigeria, and you hereby accept and submit to the personal jurisdiction of these courts with respect to any legal actions or proceedings arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Services.

12. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Services after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

14. Miscellaneous

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mentorix regarding the use of the Services, superseding any prior agreements between you and Mentorix relating to your use of the Services.

14.2 Waiver and Severability

The failure of Mentorix to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. In the event that any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

14.3 Assignment

These Terms, and any rights and licenses granted hereunder, may not be transferred or assigned by you, but may be assigned by Mentorix without restriction.

14.4 International Use

Mentorix is based in Nigeria, but our Services are available to users worldwide. Anyone from anywhere can join our programs. If you’re in a different time zone and joining one of the paid programs, we’ll work with you to find session times that work for both of us.
