Every month on the 2nd, I send out a form to people on my email list. You fill it out with your questions and challenges. UX Design Challenge

How does the UX Design Challenge work?
When you pay, you immediately receive an email explaining how everything works and how to get started. From there, you get daily emails with your challenges. You can join anytime because there are no running cohorts. Each day’s email is self-explanatory and includes resources to help you complete the challenge.
It depends on when you pay. If you pay in the morning, you’ll get your challenges in the morning. If you pay in the evening, you’ll get them in the evening. Many people prefer evening delivery so they can prepare for the next day, so if that’s what you want, make sure to pay in the evening.
If you don’t receive your email after payment, just reach out to hello@mentorix.vip and I’ll get you sorted immediately.
I’m not obligated to give feedback during the UX Design Challenge, but if you need it, you can ask. Just reply to the email that’s delivering your daily challenges and request feedback. I’m happy to help when you need guidance.
It depends on how fast you work. Typically, if you’re efficient, it should take about 2 to 4 hours per day. Some people may need up to 6 hours depending on their pace and how deeply they engage with the challenge.
Yes, you need prior understanding of what UI/UX is and how to coordinate a project. This is not for absolute beginners. You should already know the basics before joining because this challenge is self-paced and I won’t be teaching you how to do a project from scratch.
You’ll use Figma. That’s what every UI/UX designer uses, so this shouldn’t even be a question. Make sure you have Figma ready before you start.
At the end, you’ll have a portfolio with 3 real-world case studies. I also provide you with case study templates delivered via email in Figma. All you need to do is duplicate or copy them to your own drafts and use them. Plus, you’ll get daily content templates if you want to share your progress on social media.
The projects are based on what companies are actually hiring designers to build right now. I study the market and design challenges that reflect real skills employers are looking for. This isn’t just random projects. It’s work that helps you gain experience solving big, meaningful problems and articulating your design thinking.
It’s a simulation of a real-life project. You’ll get the experience of what it’s like working in a company and solving real problems, but it’s not an actual client project. Every day comes with explanations on what to do and resources if you need extra help.
Most challenges out there are just UI design challenges that teach you to design pretty interfaces. This is very different. I focus on UX and teach you skills like building scalable design systems, which is what companies are actually hiring for. If you check job boards now, you won’t see many entry-level jobs or internships. You’ll see roles like “Founding Designer” that require advanced skills. That’s what this challenge prepares you for. It’s hard to find anyone else teaching scalable design systems, and this challenge does exactly that.

Because that’s what companies are hiring for right now. Scalable design systems are a critical skill, especially for roles like founding designers or senior positions. Most challenges don’t teach this, but I do because I want you to have the skills that actually get you hired.
This is a UX Design Challenge, not a UI challenge. If your UI skills aren’t strong, you need to work on that separately before joining. I won’t be teaching you how to make your UI look good. You should already have a solid foundation in UI design before starting this challenge.

How does the UX Design Mentorship work after I pay?
After you pay, you’ll receive an email with everything you need to get started. You’ll get access to a personalized learning portal with recorded training sessions, templates, and frameworks. You’ll also join a WhatsApp group for direct access to me and book your first live group mentorship call. Currently, onboarding is handled personally by me while the automated portal is being finalized, but you’ll still receive the same high-quality lessons, templates, and live feedback.
The mentorship combines self-paced recorded lessons with live weekly group calls. You go through the recorded training sessions, complete tasks, and submit them to me for feedback. Every week, we get on a live group call where I give everyone one-on-one feedback on their work and answer questions directly. This structure gives you flexibility to learn at your own pace while still getting personalized support and insights from what others are learning.
Yes, you need to have already taken a UI/UX design course and learned the basics. This mentorship is not for absolute beginners. If you know you can’t do the work or haven’t learned the fundamentals yet, don’t join. If you don’t have a portfolio yet and feel the mentorship is too expensive, start with the UX Design Challenge first.
The 1-month plan is for people who need focused help with personal branding, LinkedIn optimization, and clarity on their next steps. The 3-month plan is a deep dive into UX strategy, business research, and building real-world projects. By the end of 3 months, you’ll have a complete case study, PRD, prototype, and even learn AI no-code tools to build functional apps. The 3-month plan is for those who want serious experience and transformation.

Yes, you can start with 1 month and upgrade later. However, I won’t offer any discount if you do it this way. The 1-month plan costs ₦25,000. If you decide to upgrade later, you’ll pay another ₦25,000 for each additional month, totaling ₦75,000. But if you commit to 3 months upfront, you only pay ₦65,000 instead of ₦75,000. So it’s better to commit to 3 months from the start if you’re serious.

You’ll need Figma and Google Docs. That’s it. Everything else is provided through the mentorship portal and WhatsApp group.
By the end of 3 months, you’ll have: a complete end-to-end project, a professional case study, a PRD (Product Requirements Document), a high-fidelity prototype, and a functional app built with AI no-code tools. You’ll also have frameworks and templates so you can build more projects on your own. However, this assumes you complete the work. Many people don’t finish because they waste time, so it depends on your commitment.
You get one-on-one feedback on every single thing you submit. You can ask me any question through WhatsApp, email, or during live calls, and I respond as soon as I see your message. During weekly group calls, everyone gets personalized feedback on their tasks. The group format also means you learn from other people’s questions and challenges, which gives you even more insights.
The 1-month plan lasts 1 month, and the 3-month plan lasts 3 months. You can pause the program, but you must talk to me first. You can’t just pause it on your own. We’ll discuss your situation and agree on when you’ll come back. Once your time is up, I won’t attend to you anymore unless we’ve made arrangements.
Since the mentorship is now recorded and you learn at your own pace, you won’t miss lessons. However, if you miss a live group call, you can send me your questions beforehand, and I’ll answer them during the call and send you the recording. If you consistently don’t show up or engage, and your 3 months end, I won’t continue working with you.
 
Yes. If you need to reschedule or cancel a live call, just let me know in advance. You can find the call link in your email and reschedule from there. Communication is key. Just don’t disappear without saying anything.
By Week 1, you’ll understand how things work. We do foundational interviews, get project briefings, and gather background and context. By Week 2, you’re planning and conducting research. By Week 3, you’re analyzing and synthesizing findings. By Week 4, you’re ideating solutions. This continues through the 3 months. Most people, once they understand how all this works, start landing jobs by the 2nd or 3rd month because they can speak confidently in interviews and demonstrate real knowledge.
Most mentorships wait for you to bring a problem. I don’t. I diagnose your challenges first and create a personalized plan to solve them. Most mentorships don’t teach deep UX research, business strategy, or AI no-code tools. I do. Most designers can’t confidently say they can deliver specific results. I can. I teach you to think like a strategist, not just a designer. And I don’t sugarcoat anything. This is serious work for people who want serious results.
It varies. I’ve had people land jobs anywhere from 2 to 6 months after starting the mentorship. Once you understand UX strategy and research deeply, you speak differently in interviews. Hiring managers notice immediately. That said, there’s no guarantee. This mentorship equips you with what you need to get hired, but actually getting the job depends on your effort and consistency.

Yes, anyone from anywhere in the world can join, Nigerians and non-Nigerians alike. Since the lessons are recorded, you can go through them whenever you want. For live group calls, we work during the day (Nigerian time), but if you miss a call, you can send me your questions and I’ll answer them during the session and send you the recording.

After completing the mentorship, I leave a LinkedIn recommendation for you, and you leave a review for me. You’ll also have a complete portfolio project, templates, frameworks, and the confidence to land jobs and speak authoritatively in interviews.

Freelance Mentorship

Who is the freelance mentorship for?
This is for anyone who wants to get clients or get hired. Designers, content creators, web developers, anyone. There’s no limit to who can join. The real question is: How badly do you need clients? How badly do you want to get a job? If you’re serious about landing high-paying clients, this is for you.
You need the skills first. I’m not teaching you how to design, create content, or develop websites or whatever you do. If you need to learn design skills, go to the UX Design Mentorship or UX Design Challenge. For content creators and web developers, learn your skill elsewhere first. You also need proof of your work, like a portfolio website (not Behance or Dribbble). Something that shows what you can do. You don’t need past clients, but you need to be confident in your skill.
 
It depends on how serious you are. Some people have gotten clients in as little as two weeks. Others saw results like people reaching out to them after we optimized their profiles and content. But here’s the truth: people who do every single thing I teach them get results fast. People who just consume without doing the work won’t see results. If you’re willing to do the work, you’ll see progress quickly.

Every two weeks on Sundays, we get on a live call where I answer questions and teach new things to help you move forward. It’s a mix of self-paced learning and live group support.
The program is 3 months long. During that time, you’ll attend bi-weekly calls, go through lessons, implement what you learn, and get feedback. A typical week looks like: attend the Sunday call, list what you need to do for the week, spend 1-2 hours daily working on those tasks, and by Thursday or Friday, submit your work for feedback. We make sure everyone is following along and not getting left behind.
 
After payment, you’ll receive an email with the link to join the Telegram channel. From there, you immediately get access to all recorded sessions, templates, scripts, and live interaction. You can start right away.
 
We cover: profile optimization, how to get clients from content, how to get clients from emails and DMs, how to know what your target audience needs and wants, and how to create an offer that makes them feel silly saying no to you. Basically, how to get them to say yes and hire you for your skill. You also get templates, scripts, and feedback on everything you submit.
 
No, there’s no guarantee. But here’s what I can tell you: almost everyone I’ve worked with who did the work got clients. The people who didn’t get clients were either not attending sessions or not confident in their skills yet. If you do what I teach and stay serious, you will see results. But I can’t guarantee anything because results depend on your effort and consistency.
Reach out to me immediately. If you do every single thing I tell you to do and you don’t get results, I’ll keep working with you until you do, no extra payment. But if you ghost the Telegram channel and don’t show up, I can’t help you. Communication is key. If you’re serious and staying engaged, I’ll make sure you succeed.
No guarantee and no refund policy. Once I finish teaching you, I can’t take back what you’ve learned. That said, people who have gone through this program and done the work have landed clients. If you do what you’re supposed to do and you’re serious about it, you will see a difference.
We use Telegram for the program delivery and communication. I advise you to use LinkedIn for content and outreach, but you can use other platforms if you want. We also use Google Docs for planning and organizing. If you prefer Notion, that’s fine too. I don’t teach automation or AI tools in this program.
Payment is through Paystack. If you want to pay directly via bank transfer, you can reach out to me at hello@mentorix.vip, but I prefer people go through Paystack to keep things simple and avoid questions about discounts or installments.
Right now, it’s ₦100,000 for lifetime access. Once you pay, you have access to everything, and we keep updating the program. However, I’m considering switching to a monthly subscription model so people only pay while they’re actively using it. For now, it’s a one-time lifetime payment.
If you miss a week or pause midway, I’ll have to remove you from the program, even if you’ve paid. This is serious work for serious people. Most people give excuses about being too busy, but if you’re making excuses, this won’t work for you. I need people who are committed and getting things done.

No, I do not accept installment payments for any program. The value I provide is too high for installments and discounts. If you need the program, borrow the money, save up, or start with a more affordable option like the Free Mentorship or UX Design Challenge. Once you’re ready, come back and pay in full.
I don’t do discounts regularly. Occasionally, I might run a promo during special times like my birthday or end of year, but it’s not guaranteed. If you’re waiting for a discount, you might be waiting a long time. The programs are already priced fairly for the value you get, so I don’t negotiate or offer installment plans.
Yes, you can upgrade or switch programs anytime. However, if you start with the 1-month UX Design Mentorship and later upgrade to 3 months, you won’t get any discount. You’ll pay the full price for each additional month. It’s better to commit to the 3-month plan upfront if you’re serious.

No. There are no refunds for any Mentorix programs (UX Design Challenge, UX Design Mentorship, or Freelance Mentorship). Once you’re enrolled and have access to materials, recordings, community, or email content, the investment is non-refundable. Once I finish teaching you, there’s no way I can take back what I’ve taught you. Make sure you’re committed before enrolling.
Start with the Free Mentorship, it’s genuinely free and designed for people who need help but can’t afford paid programs. You’ll get clarity, weekly emails, and access to recorded sessions. Once you’re ready and able, you can upgrade to a paid program. If the UX Mentorship feels too expensive, start with the UX Challenge (₦10,000) to build your portfolio first.
