This mentorship is designed for designers who have already completed at least one UI/UX design course.
You should have a basic understanding of design principles and tools (particularly Figma).
The mentorship focuses on applying and enhancing these skills through real-world projects and professional guidance—it’s not designed to teach the absolute basics from scratch.
Unlike generic design programs, Mentorix provides truly personalized mentorship with hands-on guidance from experienced designers. We work on real-world projects tailored to current market demands, with twice-weekly meetings and direct feedback on your work.
Our mentors don’t just teach theory—they guide you through the entire design process from problem definition to final case study, just like a real design team lead would.
Projects are carefully selected by our mentors based on current industry trends, job market demands, and the skills you need to develop.
This ensures you’ll work on relevant, portfolio-worthy projects that will help you stand out to employers. Your mentor will consider your strengths and areas for improvement when selecting your project.
Sessions are conducted virtually through video calls, allowing you to connect with your mentor from anywhere in the world.
You’ll also have access to communication tools to share your work and receive feedback between sessions.
Yes, you can extend your mentorship on a month-to-month basis after the initial 3 months. However, we encourage mentees to complete the program within 3 months by:
Attending 2 sessions/week.
Completing tasks before each session.
If you need more time, extensions are available at ₦25,000/month. This ensures you get the support you need while staying accountable to your goals.
Yes. You must complete the tasks assigned during your first weekly meeting before booking your second meeting. This ensures productive use of mentorship time and steady progress on your project.
No, the mentorship fee must be paid in full before beginning the program.
This ensures full commitment from both parties and allows us to reserve your mentor’s time for the entire duration.
This mentorship requires consistent commitment to achieve meaningful results. If you’re unable to commit to completing regular assignments and attending twice-weekly meetings, we recommend waiting until you have the necessary time available.
Due to the limited number of mentorship slots available and the personalized nature of the program, we do not offer refunds once the mentorship has begun. We encourage you to carefully consider your commitment before enrolling.
By the end of the 3 months, you will have:
– Completed at least one substantial real-world project from start to finish
– Developed a professional-quality case study for your portfolio
– Improved your problem-solving and design process
– Enhanced your communication and presentation skills
– Received personalized guidance on your unique strengths and how to position yourself as a designer
While the personalized mentorship focuses on skill development and portfolio building rather than job placement, many of our mentees have successfully landed design roles after completing the program.
The real-world projects and guidance you receive will significantly strengthen your portfolio, which is essential for job applications.
For those specifically focused on job hunting, our Mentorix UX Job Hacking program is the recommended next step after completing this mentorship.
Yes! You can view case studies and testimonials from previous mentees on our website. We’re proud of their accomplishments and the quality of work they produced during their mentorship.
We carefully match mentees with mentors based on goals, experience, and working style. However, if you feel your mentor isn’t the right fit, please reach out to us within the first two weeks of your mentorship, and we’ll work to address your concerns or find a more suitable mentor if necessary.
After reviewing your application and receiving your payment, we’ll reach out to discuss your goals and match you with a mentor suitable to your needs. You’ll sign an agreement document and receive instructions for scheduling your first session.
